League Rules

Match Format

League matches are singles fixtures between two registered players. Matches are played best of five sets unless administration communicates a different format for a specific competition.

Scoring

• Each set is played to 11 points, win by 2.
• Set scores must be recorded accurately after the match.
• Match winner is the player who first wins the required number of sets.

Walkovers

If a player cannot compete and no reschedule is approved, administration may record a walkover. Walkovers count toward standings according to league policy and should be reported promptly.

Late Arrival

Players should arrive early enough to warm up and start on time. Repeated lateness may be escalated to league administration. If a player is significantly late without notice, a walkover may be considered.

Sportsmanship

• Respect opponents, venue staff and spectators.
• Call scores clearly and resolve disputed points calmly.
• Abusive behaviour can result in sanctions from administration.

ELO Rules

Competitive completed matches may update player ELO. Rating changes depend on the result and relative ratings of both players. Administrative corrections can adjust history when a result is amended.

Reporting Results

Results are entered and approved through league administration. Players should confirm set scores with their opponent before submission. Incorrect results should be reported quickly so standings and ratings stay accurate.
